Will be vacationing at Disney 5/21/11-5/29/11, is this considered peak season? Your forum is awesome!!!!!!!

    Hi Mary!
Thank you for your kind words about the Panel! We all love helping guests have the best experience possible.
Your question used to be way easier to answer. Disney has tinkered with resort "seasons" many times, and in many different ways, over the years, and they used to be way easier to figure out. Most seasons went with the calendar and were based on historically low and high crowds. Now, for example, Disney has added a "Value 1" and "Value 2" season to what used to just be Value Season. You see what I mean??
Anyway, it's not that bad, but it is ever changing as places like ESPN Wide World of Sports add events that make previously low attended weekends more popular.
As for your trip, you will be attendding during Regular Season, which means room rates and crowd levels will be moderate...not too expensive, and not too crowded.
I hope this helps, and I wish you a Magical stay this spring!! :)
