    Our vacation to WDW is in October 2010 and I was wondering how long it takes in the buses to get from Port New Orleans Resort to Epcot? for dining reservations I needed to know how much time to leave us to transport. Thank-you!

    Hi Heather!  The most efficient way to reach EPCOT from the Port Orleans resort is to use the Disney busses.  This trip would take approximately 26 minutes but you need to add wait time to this as well. Busses will run every 15-20 minutes and if you are unlucky as I am you will go out to the stop to see the bus you want just pulling away. That means waiting for the next one which will arrive in about 15 minutes!

    Once you arrive at EPCOT you need to give yourself plenty of time to walk to the restaurant. The bus drop off area is quite a distance to the entrance to the park and if you are attempting to get anywhere in the World Showcase you need to give yourself another 30 minutes. I suggest you give yourself an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half to reach your destination. I hate arriving to a meal when I have been stressed out and rushing....food never tastes quite as good when you can't catch your breath!
