Ahoy there, Kaela! Thank you for visiting planDisney with your questions. Canceling your vacation is never an easy decision, but sometimes it's necessary.
The
Disney Vacation Protection Plan provides coverage before and during your vacation. It does cover trip cancellation under certain unforeseen reasons. It also offers a non-insurance feature where you receive a future cruise credit for up to 75% of the cancellation amount to apply to a future Disney cruise if you need to cancel your cruise for any reason not covered in your policy. It's important to read the details. If you are looking for additional coverage, some credit cards and home policies offer travel insurance.
You can
edit your travel party by logging into the Disney Cruise Line website and accessing your reservation. If you make changes close to your cruise date, there may be a fee to pay, though. It's best to
call Disney Cruise Line to discuss your options and make an informed decision.
No matter what, Hakuna Matata, Kaela! No worries! If not all of your pirate crew can make it this time, I hope that means you have a future cruise with them!
If you have any other questions,
planDisney is here for you. We hope to see you again real soon.
