Vacation planned for 1/8/15-1/12/15 at SSR. Would like to stay at OKW,,however those dates not available for a 2 bedroom. Yet, if you try to book outside of DVC, they are for cash. Do those rooms become available for DVC at later date if not booked?

Hi Thomas,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I spoke with a cast member at Disney Vacation Club Member Services, who let me know that villas that are available at Disney Vacation Club resorts for booking with traditional payment methods such as cash or credit card are not released back into inventory for booking using Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points.

I think that it was a really good idea to go ahead and book your two-bedroom villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. This way, you know that you have a resort reservation confirmed. I suggest that you add yourself to the waitlist for Disney's Old Key West Resort for a two-bedroom villa. Disney Vacation Club members do sometimes change their vacation plans, so you never know if your waitlist request might become available. You can add yourself to the waitlist at the Disney Vacation Club member website or by calling Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800.
