    Scott from CA Asked

Hello! I have a vacation planned October 3rd - October 10th and was wondering if the DVC - Member Lounge at Epcot is open?

Hey there, Scott! Thanks for coming back to see us here at planDisney!

Scott, while picking my favorite Walt Disney World theme park is a little like picking my favorite Disney character (Hint: I love them ALL, but Chef Remy is extra adorable), there is something about EPCOT that always makes it rise to the top.

I'm very happy to report that the Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge at the Imagination! Pavilion is open and welcoming members. Scott, my family and I were just in the lounge this past August and I can tell you it was so great to walk in and here that "welcome home." It's also important to note that due to enhanced health and safety measures you'll find a few differences if you've visited before. Complimentary drinks are still offered but instead of being self-serve, you will find a Cast Member ready to take your order. Other minor differences like seating arrangements are also in place for the health and safety of everyone. Finally, Scott, make sure to check your wallet and bring along that blue Membership card to gain admittance! If you're like me and frequently misplace things you can always download a temporary card right on your smartphone.

Scott, I hope this helps as you're planning out your EPCOT day. Since you'll be visiting in just a few days, make sure to read all about the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. In my mind, nothing beats strolling the World Showcase and then stopping to savor all the yummy snacks!

Scott, please come on back to planDisney with any other questions you might have. Wishing you a truly Magical trip "home."
