Hi Jessica,
Welcome to planDisney!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my family's absolute favorite experiences at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Last year's party dates were
announced mid-June. Be sure to review the
details about the party and, once those tickets are purchased, start planning your party attire. We love the atmosphere, the treats, and, most of all, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
As it gets closer to your dates, be sure to check out the
Disney Store. We typically buy matching shirts for our party visits. I also carefully think through our dining plans. As much as we want to make the best use of our time at the party, my family also likes to eat, so we typically make
advanced dining reservations. Just be sure to leave some room for the other fabulous party treats!
If you have not yet considered the photos for this trip, I suggest you do a
Capture Your Moment: Magic Kingdom Park session. My family did one of these sessions dressed in our holiday gear and used that photo for our holiday cards that we mailed to friends and family. It still remains one of my favorite photos from all of our trips to Disney.
Jessica, remember that the holidays can get busy. Pack your patience and keep planning. I do have one final tip - take some time to stop by
Disney Springs. We typically do some final holiday shopping and have those items shipped home. On one trip the packages made it back to our house before we got back home. Sending you a little extra magical holiday pixie dust!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
