    I have a vacation planned between Christmas and New Years. Do all the rides and/or attractions stay open  during the winter months?

    Hi, Elizabeth!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

    Part of the magic at Walt Disney World is its location in sunny Florida! Even during the winter months, Florida remains beautiful and warm, when most of the country has feet of snow. So, attractions will be open and operating during the Christmas and New Years holiday. 

    The only time an attraction or ride is not operating during that time of year or any other time of year is if there are technical issues or severe weather! 

    The weather during that time of year is beautiful and mild. Mornings can be a little cool so take a jacket just in case. Once the afternoon rolls around, it warms up and then gets cool again around sunset! 

    So enjoy your visit to Disney during this magical time of the year! The holiday decorations are beautiful and the smells of the holiday treats are awesome!
