My vacation party is of 2 and will arrive around 1 pm eastern/time at airport. Our departure is flexible, so it could be in the morning or afternoon. Including the our arrival and departure day, our vacation is 7 days. How many park tickets should we get?

    Hi Andrea,

If it were me, I would purchase a five-day theme park ticket.  Since you are arriving in the afternoon, you can expect to be checked-in and settled at your resort by the late afternoon.  Rather than purchasing a theme park ticket for that day, you could spend some time enjoying your resort and exploring the grounds.  You could go for a swim and then maybe you could book a dinner reservation at one of the resorts or Downtown Disney.  After a day of travel, I always find it beneficial to get a good nights rest before tackling the theme parks the next day, so by avoiding the theme parks on the first day you're sure to turn in early.

If you are utilizing Disney' Magical Express transportation to the airport, you can expect to have a pickup time that is three hours prior to your flight's departure time.  I don't like to be rushed on departure day, so for this reason I always avoid the theme parks.  I typically stay out late the night before departure and spend the morning packing up and doing any last minute shopping.

    Hope this helps!
