How can I get a vacation packet mailed to me? All of the information is very overwhelming and I need to see maps to see where everything is. We were there back in the late 2000’s but we had accommodations off the Disney campus

    Hello Angela,

Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney!

You've likely heard the well-known saying of Walt Disney that “Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.” I think the same is true of the Walt Disney World Resort. As I see it, with each visit, there's more magic to experience and more memories to make.

I can understand it can sometimes feel like there's a lot of information to take in when planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I'm so glad that you came to see us at planDisney. At planDisney, we're Disney Guests like you who want to make the most of our magical stays. We're happy to share our suggestions and tips from all our travels to the Walt Disney World Resort.

One of the most helpful aspects of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is that just about all the information you need to put together your own magical stay is available online. Not only can you view maps to see where everything is throughout all of Walt Disney World, but you can use interactive maps with step-by-step directions to guide you all around and get you where you'd like to go.

I suggest starting with the big picture view to explore all of the Walt Disney World Resort. The online map will show you where everything is -- the theme parks, the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, the restaurants and shops, and more. I also suggest using the My Disney Experience mobile app and the step-by-step navigation it provides. You can even use the mobile app maps from the comfort of your home to tour all around the Walt Disney World Resort.

I also suggest checking out the theme park guide maps just like the guide maps you probably picked up on your last visit to the theme parks. You can find all the guide maps online, and they make for a great way to see all that's new in the theme parks. You can find them here: Magic Kingdom Guide MapEPCOT Guide MapDisney's Hollywood Studios Guide Map, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Guide Map.

Angela, I hope this information and these maps help you get reacquainted with the Walt Disney World Resort.  You'll find there's so much magic to discover, and to rediscover.

I can understand it's also sometimes helpful to pick up a printed guide to browse for planning. You might want to pick up an official guide book to help you explore all there is to experience at the Walt Disney World Resort.

As you have questions about the plans you're making, be sure to come back and ask us here at planDisney. We're here for you and happy to help!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
