Hello Stephanie and welcome to planDisney! It's my pleasure to assist you with your question. Although I hope you won't need to cancel, I understand that sometimes life happens and plans change. I'm here to help you navigate the process.
Vacation packages are more flexible than
Theme Park tickets, so that's good news! But it's essential to follow the rules outlined in the
Walt Disney Travel Company Terms and Conditions. Currently, if you cancel 30 days or more before your arrival date, you'll receive a refund minus some cancellation fees. If you cancel 2-29 days before, there will be a small cancellation fee of $200 per package. Unfortunately, you won't receive a refund if you cancel or no-show 1 day before or on your arrival date. And remember, refunds aren't available for early hotel departures or unused theme park tickets.
Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment and can take up to 10 days to process, but don't worry; I'm sure everything will go smoothly. And if you ever need any assistance with modifications or cancellations or have any further questions about your refund, you can always
call Disney World by phone.
I believe that it's always better to be safe than sorry, so I suggest you keep track of all your deadlines and set reminders on your phone. I do that the minute I book a vacation package to keep my mind at ease. Although I hope you won't have to cancel your trip, it's always better to be prepared and have a plan in place.
I hope this information helps and that you have an enchanted time on your future adventures to the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you ever need any more help,
please come back and let us know. It always makes my day to help a friend like you.
Cheers
Nilson
