When will vacation packages for 2023 open up?

Hey howdy hey, Angela! You’ve got a friend in me at planDisney, so let’s get started!

I’m so excited to hEAR that you’re starting to plan your 2023 vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth! Currently, Vacation Packages are only available through December of 2022, but they tend to open for the following year by the end of summer, typically by the end of August. So, I recommend checking Disneyland.com or heading back to planDisney in June or July to see if we have any updates to pass along.

While you’re waiting, you can start thinking about where you’d like to stay. You simply can’t go wrong with any of the Disneyland Resort Hotels! My children adore the Disneyland Hotel thanks to the awesome monorail waterslides and pools. I also love the luxury and convenience of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa – it even offers an exclusive entrance into Disney California Adventure Park! Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel offers beautiful views of Disney California Adventure Park too, especially at night!

In addition, you can start booking dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, which would put you around February 2, 2023. There are so many unique options to choose from, so I recommend checking out the menus ahead of time. Some of my family’s favorite spots include Wine Country Trattoria, Plaza Inn, and GCH Craftsman Grill.

As you continue planning your Disneyland Resort getaway, I recommend following @plandisneypanel on Instagram for all the latest tips. If you have any other questions as your trip gets closer, please head back to planDisney… we’re all EARs!

    Happy planning,

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
