Hi Nichole!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question! Planning a vacation on land and sea sounds like a dream come true!
There will be a few considerations when booking each portion of your stay. If you book a
Disney Cruise Line trip directly through their system,
there is a way to include your Disney Resort hotel and ticket package. This will help keep your reservations all in one place, but you will not be able to include any add-ons, such as the Disney Dining Plan. There are also no special discounts when combining the two, so you'll essentially be doing so for the convenience of having them in one place.
With many discounts and special promotions available through Walt Disney World, it might make sense to book each leg of your vacation independently and try to take advantage of the
current offers. Disney Cruise Line does provide transportation from your Disney Resort hotel to Port Canaveral or vice versa, so this will be a perk when planning your travels.
If you want help planning each part of your stay, you can contact an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. These individuals can book your entire vacation, including your
Walt Disney World reservations, Disney Cruise Line trip, airfare, transportation, and so much more. They will also help you find any special discounts that are available for each leg of your stay. To find one, simply perform a Google search and a host of planners will appear to choose from.
Nichole, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay!
