I have vacation package through Southwest vacations and wanted to know once I make park reservations is there anything else I need in order to enter selected park?

    Hi Pamela! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm excited about your upcoming stay at the Walt Disney World Resort! You're getting close to single digits on the countdown clock! By now, I'm sure you have most of your plans finalized and you are ready to go. I hope you were able to snag all the Advanced Dining Reservations and Theme Park Reservations for your entire stay. With so many changes happening at Walt Disney World, it's best to always make sure you have the latest information before you arrive onsite.

As long as you have your park tickets purchased and your park reservations secured, you will have everything you need to enter the parks each day. To ensure that your park reservations are correct, log on to your My Disney Experience account and scroll down to "My Parks, Reservations, and Tickets". All your plans for your vacation will appear here, including your park reservations for each day.

If you need to make any changes to these reservations, you'll need to cancel the existing one for that day, and book the new park you wish to visit. I would check the park availability calendar before making any changes to ensure that the new park is available on that date. Another thing to note is if you purchased park hopper tickets, you will be able to visit any of the remaining theme parks starting at 2 PM after visiting the first park you made a reservation for. You will not need a reservation at the park you are hopping to.

Depending on how long your stay is, you may be there for the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This is a brand new attraction set to debut on May 27th at EPCOT. To ride this attraction, you will have the option to use the virtual queue system or by purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane arrival window. There will not be a standby queue when this attraction first opens. The virtual queue option will be competitive, so I would tailor your expectations accordingly.

Pamela, I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming visit! Stop back to see us again at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
