Hi, Candice! Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel for help in planning your magical vacation! I’m so glad you have a leg up working with the
Memory Maker in My Disney Experience; like Tiana, you’re “almost there!”
I’m assuming the kids have their own MagicBands and are over the age of 3, since you are asking about them linking up. If you are in charge of planning your children’s accounts, and you are a Memory Maker entitlement holder (or linked to a family member with such) the kid’s bands will follow suit. For example, if I have a Memory Maker for an upcoming vacation, and my husband takes my son for a ride on
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and to take photos with Stitch, both the attraction photos and Stitch’s photos will appear in my PhotoPass downloads, whether my son or my husband used their bands to scan.
If a child’s My Disney Experience account is being managed by another adult, you will need to mark that adult as a family member (say it’s your brother or your best friend) in order to link the accounts and see each other’s
PhotoPass downloads. If they have no account at all, you’ll need to make one for them, if only to create FastPass+ reservations and the other perks that come with having a MagicBand.
If I can be of more help, please feel free to ask a question directly, and we can pick up the topic where we left off. I hope you have a magical vacation! ~Lindsey P.
