May is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! Springtime beauty is in full bloom, and the weather is warm enough for much-needed pool breaks. You will also arrive before the heat of summer and the crowds that come with the extended school break. It is worth noting that crowds can be heavier around Mother's Day and Memorial Day weekend. The beginning of the month and the time in between these two holidays are your sweet spots for May! If you are considering other arrival months, September can be great after Labor Day, and February is nice and cool. You will see an increase in crowds around Valentine's Day and Presidents' Day. I also suggest being mindful of holidays,
runDisney events, and attraction openings when considering all other months!
I understand the excitement about wanting to make plans official. Vacation packages and hotel reservations for 2027 haven't been released quite yet. Traditionally, the announcement with the official opening date comes out in the spring, so you shouldn't have to wait too much longer. Be sure to
