    Linnea from WA Asked

We have vacation package with a good neighbor hotel. Our arrival is Nov. 1-5. We still intend on coming down and want to know what we do about our park tickets. We know the park will not be open, but there are many other things we will be doing.

Welcome to planDisey, Linnea! Thank you for bringing your question our way!

I am so happy to hear that you are keeping your Good Neighbor Hotel vacation package! It sounds like you’ll be keeping busy with the other things you’ll be doing. And don’t forget that even though the Disneyland Resort theme parks are closed, you can still enjoy the Downtown Disney District. You’ll find there is plenty to do including exploring the many retail stores and restaurants. For a list of all open locations and to review all the new guidelines, please visit the Downtown Disney website before your visit.

And, even though you won’t be able to use the theme park tickets included in your package, rest assured that you’ll be able to enjoy the magic at a later date. According to eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. So, if you're unable to visit before your ticket expires, simply go to a Main Entrance ticket booth when you’re ready to visit. A Cast Member there will apply your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase. For additional information, please contact a Cast Member in the Vacation Packages Department at (714) 520-5060.

We hope that you will come to see us again with your vacation planning questions! We’re all EARS!
