Hi Debra, welcome to planDisney!
The Disney Parks hosted their Halfway to the Holidays celebration on social media this past week and I'm excited to see that you are
over halfway to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! An early November arrival means you will be some of the first Guests to lay eyes on the wreaths, garland, and larger-than-life holiday tree on Main Street, U.S.A., in Magic Kingdom Park.
Personalized ornaments are my favorite souvenEAR and a great way to remember your trip.
When planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with a group, it's important for everyone to be connected as
Family and Friends in My Disney Experience. When someone appears on your
Family and Friends list, you can view and make plans for them and they can do the same for you.
It sounds like all four adults are already connected as Family and Friends in My Disney Experience, which is a great start. Children under the age of 13 must have their My Disney Experience account profiles managed by an adult. The managing adult (that's you!) is the only one that can change the children's profile characters, manage their MagicBands and admission cards in My Disney Experience, and download their Disney MagicMobile passes. Anyone connected to the children as Family and Friends can link tickets, make theme park reservations, make dining reservations, purchase Disney Genie+ service, and make Lightning Lane reservations for them. I manage my children's profiles but my husband has no problem making plans for them on our vacations.
To connect the children with the other adults in your party, start by making sure your Family and Friends list is shared. To do this online, first access your
Family and Friends list. If you do not see "My List is Shared" next to your name, click "Update" and "Share My List." Once your list is shared, the other adults can access their Family and Friends lists and click "Add a Guest." They then select the "Find through my connected Guests" option and the children should automagically appear for selection since they are connected to you and your list is shared.
Everyone in your party can also view each other's Disney PhotoPass photos as long as the "My Disney PhotoPass Photos" box is checked when you click "Update" next to a person's name as it appears on your Family and Friends list. Only true friends get to see my face on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, haha!
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with such a thoughtful question, Debra. Now that you know where to find us, I hope to see you again real soon.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
