While on vacation, the last week of July, my daughter will be turing 7. We've already did the bibbiddi bobiddi boutique for her birthday last year. What other suggestions do you have for making a birthday girl feel like a princess?

The Grand Floridian offers a wonderful experience called My Disney Girls Perfectly Princess Tea Party. This party is available for girls (and boys!) ages 3-11, and it is something you can do together. Each princess receives a special Disney Girl doll dressed as Princess Aurora, a princess tiara, silver link bracelet, fresh-cut rose, scrapbook page and a "best friend" certificate. Young princes receive a teddy bear and crown in lieu of the doll and tiara.

The party is hosted by Rose Petal and features a visit from Princess Aurora herself. Rose Petal entertains you with stories and songs while you enjoy your meal. The childrens menu consists of juice, fruit and sandwiches while adults receive hot tea, with sandwiches, crackers, cheese and fruit. There is also cake served at the end of your meal.

This experience is available on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm in the Grand Floridian's Garden View Lounge. The cost is a bit steep at $250 plus tax for one adult and child (includes gratuity). An additional child may join you for $165 plus tax, and additional adults cost $85 plus tax. While it's a bit expensive, your daughter will receive the doll and other items which makes the cost seem not so bad. Of course, the memories are priceless! You can make reservations 90 days prior to your trip by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).

I plan to take my daughter to the Perfectly Princess tea on our next visit, as we will be celebrating her birthday. In my opinion, other than the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the tea party sounds like a wonderful way to make your birthday girl feel like a princess!

No matter what you decide, I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating your daughter's birthday at Disney World!
