We had a vacation to Hawaii cancelled and are looking to book Disney World for 2-3 days June 20-27. It shows that there are no reservations available at Magic Kingdom. Is it still possible to find tickets/reservations anywhere if it shows no availability?

Hi Shawn, and welcome to planDisney.

I have serious Hawaii dreams, and I am so sorry to hear your vacation to Hawaii was canceled. I can only imagine how disappointing that was for your family. I know I would want to head straight to my happy place - the Walt Disney World Resort - for some emergency vacation vibe recovery! Let's see if I can help you make your Disney dreams come true.

I just checked the Disney Park Pass reservation calendar for your vacation time window, and I see EPCOT as the only available theme park from June 20-27, 2021. I do want to note that this is a live calendar, and availability changes all the time - I recently canceled some Disney Park Pass reservations and actually got excited for the Guests getting my spots! Please keep checking and refreshing the calendar - you never know when pixie dust might be in the air.

Another option is to purchase tickets with the Park Hopper Option. With Park Hopper, you would start your day at your selected park (in this case, EPCOT), and then, when Park Hopper Hours begin, you will be free to head to any available park. Guests with Park Hopper tickets only need Disney Park Pass Reservations for their first park of the day; you must enter the park at which you have the reservations, and then just need to check to be sure a park is available before hopping there. This Disney Parks Blog article provides a great visual infographic on how Park Hopping works.  It's my understanding that theme parks rarely fill up for park hopping, though it can happen. This doesn't guarantee you a visit to Magic Kingdom Park, but it does give you a good chance for an afternoon visit. Park Hopper hours currently begin at 2:00 p.m., but that's subject to change and will be reflected accurately in the Park Hours.

I also want to put in a good word for EPCOT, Shawn! My family is visiting at the end of June and we cannot wait to visit the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The gorgeous topiary characters, fun exhibits and activities, and delicious food and drink throughout the World Showcase make this our favorite festival. AND the Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade is a delicious treat that I dream about all year!

I'm sending you pixie-dusted wishes that you can find Disney Park Pass availability for Magic Kingdom Park. Be persistent and keep trying! I hope these ideas help you plan a June vacation that is practically perfect in every way - and please come back and see us if you think of any questions as you plan and dream!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
