my vacation is in dec ,already paid for,but i want to add another day at the resort

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Michaeleen.

One more day of magic sounds like an absolutely amazing choice! Let's get you all squared away.

Now, there are two ways of adding another day to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation, Michaeleen - online and over the phone. However, depending on the type of reservation you may or may not be able to do it online. But just in case, let's start there because it is the quickest option of the two. First, you'll need to log in to your MyDisneyExperience account. Then, you'll need to visit the "My Reservations" section of the website. If it is possible for you to modify your reservation online you'll see a link to "Modify Reservations" and you'll want to select that. You'll go through the prompts and then be all set. If you don't see that "Modify Reservations" link you won't be able to do this online. The other option is to call (407) 934-7639 and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you. Phone lines open up around 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time and I do recommend calling as early as you can. Lately, Guests have been experiencing higher-than-normal wait times later in the day. This can be avoided simply by setting your alarm clock and just getting it done bright and early.

Visiting Walt Disney World in December is so magical, Michaeleen. The Walt Disney World Theme Parks are all dressed up in their holiday best and it is so festive and fun. One thing I always really enjoy is the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays which should be going on during your trip. If you haven't thought about visiting EPCOT to enjoy the festival, I highly recommend it. I love seeing how other countries and cultures celebrate the holiday season through storytelling, decorating and of course, food. The holiday kitchens are so fun to be able to try samplings of holiday flavors from around the globe.

I hope this helps, Michaeleen. If you have any other questions while you plan your vacation, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
