My vacation is still 55 days out but I see that I can check into my hotel now. When is the best time to do this? Thanks!

Hey there Quillan, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Tick, tock, tick, tock, no this is not a reference to the crocodile that took Captain Hook's left hand but how slow it feels when my Disney vacation is far away and I want to be there now.

The best time to Online Check-In to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel is now. Why now? Because it is 60 days or less from your arrival date and on your mind. You will enter all the standard information usually collected by the Front Desk such as, mobile phone number and email address to receive messages during your stay, credit card information for incidentals and charging items on your MagicBand, also a PIN for secure MagicBand purchases, arrival time, room location requests such as a high floor, near transportation or water view (subject to availability and different at each Resort hotel), and your address. There is no time limit to use the service as you may use Online Check-In anytime until you arrive.

Disney Dad Tip 1: Even though you do not have to stop at the Front Desk to check-in you may want to stop by to receive your welcome folder. Inside will be a map of the Resort hotel and Recreation Calendar. These calendars will tell you about the events at the Resort hotel and Movie Under the Stars as well as any Campfires.

Disney Dad Tip 2: Did you know that you can Unlock Your Room Door with the My Disney Experience mobile app? It is so cool.

Quillan, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
