Hi Rachel!
Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney!
I’ve taken quite a few trips with larger groups, most recently being a trip with all of my planDisney friends! I’m happy to report that, from my experience, yes! Restaurants will allow you to split the bill. Just make sure you let the Cast Members know right at the beginning of the meal, so they can get it all set up for you right off the bat.
When booking
dining reservations for a bigger group, you may get lucky with snagging a table for all 8 of you! But if you have a high-priority restaurant that doesn’t seem to have a table for 8 available, you can try to split into smaller groups and make reservations for similar times instead. When you check in to the restaurant, you can ask the Cast Member if your group can be seated near each other. While it’s not guaranteed, they’ll do their best to accommodate you.
If you’re staying at a
Disney World resort, your
Advanced Dining Reservation booking window will open for your entire trip beginning at 6 AM Eastern, 60 days prior to your resort check-in date. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 6 AM Eastern, 60 days prior to the specific date you’d like the reservation for.
I always use a date calculator online to find the date my booking window will open and put a reminder in my calendar, so I don’t forget in the midst of our busy, everyday life!
I hope that helps! Have the best trip! And let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan.
The holidays are such a special time to visit Disney World!
