"Welcome home," Joseph and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
Joseph, I love when I see a fellow resident of the Keystone State planning a Magical vacation and I'm happy to assist. One of the reasons I love our
Disney Vacation Club Membership is the option to not only visit the Walt Disney World Resort, but to become voyagers like Moana and "
find the line where the sky meets the sea!" Now, since you have specific travel dates in mind, let's talk about your options to visit
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.
Since currently you're not finding availability through Disney Vacation Club, you
do have the option to convert your Vacation points into "reservation points" to book an alternate way. To convert your points you'll need to
call into Member Services and speak with a Disney Vacation Club guide. Joseph, you can use
THIS LINK to calculate the number of points needed. Keep in mind that the points charts are a bit higher when
converting to "reservation points" and booking as a quasi cash guest.
If you do not wish to convert your points, another option is to
waitlist your stay through Disney Vacation Club. While there is no guarantee that your reservation will become available, if you don't mind a bit of (
pardon the pun) waiting, many Members appreciate this option.
Joseph, I hope this helps as you are trying to book a trip to
this true tropical oasis. I'll be wishing on the heart of Te Fiti that you are able to find availability and secure your reservation. Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions you might have. Just as Maui was committed to helping Moana, we here at planDisney are committed to helping guests create Fairytale vacations.
