Hiya, Justina!
Welcome to planDisney. How exciting that your upcoming Disney vacation is just around the riverbend. Soon, you'll be transported to a whole new world of magic. Like you, watching the nighttime spectaculars at each of the theme parks is one of my favorite ways to end our Disney day.
Justina, there aren't specific Disney Vacation Club resorts to watch the fireworks outside the parks. However, eligible DVC Members (those eligible for Member benefits) do have access to the
Top of the World Lounge - A Villains Lair, which is located at the top of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, where you can view the Magic Kingdom fireworks. To access this Members-only space, you have a few options.
You can arrive to the check-in desk, present your Digital ID and photo ID, and enjoy the lounge where you can purchase delicious treats and drinks. Check-in begins at 6:00 p.m. and availability is on a first-come, first-served and it often goes to a Waitlist. A Member can bring in up to four Guests, but all must be present with the Member. It is very popular, so I do recommend getting there early.
However, you can also guarantee seating by booking ahead Wicked Wind Down or the Enchantment At The Top Dessert Party. Wicked Wind Down is available daily - excluding holidays, special events, and Fridays - and is subject to capacity. The price for this devilishly delicious event, which includes a cocktail and appetizer from the Disney villains-themed menu and the sinfully sweet dessert of the day, is $55 plus tax per person (subject to change). The Enchantment At The Top Dessert Party is a sinisterly sweet event held most Friday nights and costs $89.00 per adult, plus tax, and $49.00 per child, plus tax (both subject to change.) It is subject to capacity. You can book the Wicked Wind Down or Enchantment at the Top Dessert Party, beginning 60 days out from your check-in date. To do this, call
Member Services, and they will do their magic to make it happen for you.
Now, another option for fireworks viewing outside the parks is to book a pontoon boat
Fireworks Cruise on the Seven Seas Lagoon. We did this a couple of years ago, and it was magical. After a lovely cruise on the lake, it parked where we could see the fireworks perfectly, while music was pumped in on the boat. It's a magical way to add more pixie dust to your vacation.
If you are just hoping to see fireworks from one of the
Magic Kingdom Resorts, the views can vary. But many fellow panelists have been able to view them from lakefront rooms at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Contemporary Resorts. It will depend on your room location and how high it is, but often you can see the magic in the air.
I hope this helps you, Justina! If you have any further questions, stop back here to see me, and I'll be so happy to help you.
See Ya Real Soon!
