When your vacation is booked through a TA, are you able to make payments online or on the app yourself or does your TA have to do it for you? If you can do it yourself, where do you make the payments?

Hi, Sarah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I have several friends who are travel agents and I think that may be the most magical job of all. They are able to think Disney all day, every day as they plan magical vacations for their clients. I have had some of them book trips for us occasionally and, I have to say, it sure was an easy experience! I did not have to do a single thing except count down to the day our vacation would begin. As an avid Disney planner, this did make me anxious at first. However, it was pretty nice to not have to worry about every bit of pixie dust! I just turned everything over to them and they made it all practically perfect in every way.

When you book your Walt Disney World Resort vacation through a travel agent, you will make your deposit payment and all remaining payments through that agent. If you go to your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to see all of the plans for your upcoming vacation, but you will not be able to modify your Disney Resort Hotel stay or package, nor will you find a link to complete payment. You will need to check with your magic maker to see exactly how they prefer payment to be sent to them and the timeline that they require.

Some travel agents do offer to make dining reservations and FastPass+ selections for you. You should be able to modify these if needed on the My Disney Experience mobile app or online. If you are completing these on your own, be sure to make note of the days that are 180 days and 60 days in advance of your check-in day. You will be able to make dining reservations at 180 days and FastPass+ selections for your entire trip at 60 days, so they are pretty important dates to remember!

Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
