    Our Vacation is booked for September 6 of this year and with the announcement of Star Wars Galaxy Edge being opened the week before which we just lucked into do you think this will affect the crowds? We chose this week for low crowds.

    Hi, Patricia!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I wish that I had powers of clairvoyance like Madame Leota from the Haunted Mansion.  If I did, I would definitely use them to see what the crowd levels will be like this September, since I also have a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort planned right around the same time as you.  Unfortunately, at this point, any discussion of how the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will affect crowd levels would be pure speculation.

    As a huge Star Wars fan, I am so excited to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort shortly after the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  I know I will be watching Disney Parks Blog very closely for all of the latest news related to this immersive new land, and I would suggest that anyone traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort this fall do the same.

    In addition to being able to travel to a galaxy far, far away, there is so much else to be excited about when you visit the Walt Disney World Resort this fall.  Be sure to check out one of my favorite Walt Disney World events, The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.  You also may want to BOO-k your tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
