I have a vacation booked for my family Nov 11 to 18 2025. We are dvc members and are staying at akl Kidani. Was looking at getting tickets for mickeys very merry Christmas party. I see dvc Members get a 10$ discount on tickets. Do all my family members

    Ho Ho Ho, Jeremy!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for dashing through the snow all the way here with your question. How exciting that you are thinking of visiting during the jolliest time of year.  I attended the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last year, and oh what fun it was to see Magic Kingdom decked to the halls and enjoy the spirit of the season with merriment and magic at the same time!

Jeremy, eligible Disney Vacation Club Members do receive discounts on hundreds of tickets, tours, events, and experiences. Typically, this does include select dates for events like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. How's that for a holiday gift!

If you are eligible and if a discount is being offered on the date for which you wish to purchase your tickets, you should see a DVC Member price when you go to purchase the ticket. Be sure your DVC Membership is linked to your My Disney Experience account, and be sure you are logged into your My Disney Experience account when purchasing the tickets.

Then, go to the date for which you want to attend the party, and above the calendar, you should see a button where you can choose "DVC Member Price." This should automatically show you the discounted price.  Select the date you want to attend, and then add the number of tickets for your traveling party. The discounted price (if available) will be applied to all members of your party (so each ticket will be discounted at the DVC Member rate). When you go to check out, you can assign the tickets to your family members and friends traveling with you.  If you forget to assign the tickets at checkout, don't worry. You will receive a confirmation email with the ticket numbers and they can be assigned to your traveling party afterwards.

Now, if your DVC Membership is linked to your My Disney Experience account, and you are logged into your My Disney Experience account when purchasing the tickets, but you do NOT see a DVC Member price option, it can mean that a discount is not being offered for that date. Discounted rates are available on select dates, so sometimes, as it gets closer to the holidays, the discount is not available for those dates.

I would recommend purchasing the tickets sooner rather than later, as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is very popular and it does sell out.   You most certainly will want to enjoy all of the special experiences of this event, including seeing the big cheese (and I'm talking about Santa Claus, not just Mickey Mouse!) My favorite is tasting all of the specialty drinks and treats throughout the park.

I hope this helps you, Jeremy! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, jingle all the way back here and I'll be sure to help you.

    Magically Yours,
    Keri
