    Hello, I have a vacation booked at the beginning of September at Art of Animation. Do you know when all the room refurbishments will be done? We are staying in A Little Mermaid room and it seems that these rooms will be finished last.

    I’m so happy to hEAR that you are planning to stay Under the Sea in one of The Little Mermaid Rooms! Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is my absolute favorite Disney Resort Hotel to stay at. Plus, all the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel only add to the Magic.

    When it comes to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, all I have to say is KA-CHOW! The larger than life Characters that stand tall outside of each building, and the incredible artwork will “draw” you in! Not to mention, very soon your family will be able to soar through the sky on the newly added Disney Skyliner! Did you know that the Disney Skyliner can take you to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot? It’s definitely a fun way to travel throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!

    As far as The Little Mermaid Rooms undergoing refurbishment, there are currently no plans for this to be happening in that section. However, Disney is always looking to give you the Shining, Shimmering, Splendid feel of a Whole New World! So, there may be a chance that they will soon begin those refurbishments. I recommend contacting the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations by phone, closer to your arrival date to check the status of refurbishments. I know when I was visiting in December, they were working on the Family Suites in The Lion King Section. If you’re looking to enjoy one of the newly refurbished rooms, I recommend the Finding Nemo Family Suites, those are completed!
