Hello! We are going on our 5th vacation in august and we want a resort with a great pool and a relaxing environment without any chaos or kids, we have stayed at caribbean beach, riverside and french quarters, we loved caribbean, is there any resort like it

    Hi Greg!

Unfortunately, I don't know of any pool at Walt Disney World that won't have any children in it, but I do know of some great pools.  The best pool on property is Stormalong Bay which is shared by Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club Resorts.  It's a sand bottom pool broken basically into 3 parts and one of the parts is a fairly fast moving lazy river; I've never seen a lot of children in there.  There's also an amazing water slide, but of course, that's very popular with children.  Stormalong Bay is basically a mini-water park and most guests can easily spend a half a day to a full day there.

After that, I would suggest staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Both the regular hotel and the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) part of Animal Kingdom Lodge have great pools and as a guest of either one, you can visit the other.  For example, if you are staying in Kidani Village, the DVC portion, you can swim in the pool at Jambo House as well.

Other resorts, such as the Polynesian, have a great pool but it is generally crowded with children of all ages.  By the way, a non-Disney owned resort with a couple of great pools is the Walt Disney World Swan.  One of their very large pools is generally very empty, because most guests are at the pool with the waterfall and water slide.  Good luck with your decision!
