My vacation is in August, if I buy the memory maker now, will it have expired by then? Now being in June?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kimberly! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!

I'm happy to report that you're welcome to purchase the Memory Maker Service at a discounted price up to three days before your vacation is set to begin. Once this time has passed, you'd have to pay for the service at full price, so I actually recommend that you get it as soon as possible! After completing the transaction, your Memory Maker will be safe in your account until you decide to activate it.

Kimberly, in order to activate the Memory Maker Service, you'll need to do a couple of things. First, get your picture taken at the Walt Disney World Resort, so grab your travel party, make a silly pose, and say cheese! After that, the Disney PhotoPass Cast Member will ask to scan your MagicBands, MagicBand+ devices, or physical park tickets, which will immediately link them to your account.

Now, simply wait until the pictures show up in the My Disney Experience mobile app and click on one of them. You should see the PhotoPass watermark on every single one of the pictures at this point, but that's completely normal! You'll quickly receive a request to activate the Memory Maker Service, so make sure to select 'Yes' and you'll be all set.

I hope this helps, Kimberly! If you have any other questions for us, you know just where to find us. We're always available and more than happy to help! Have a magical day!

    Warm hugs,

    Ana Paula
