Vaca 40 days away! Trying to decide which building to stay in at CBR. Which is the main pool closest too? Which building has the best playground? Cannot swing an upgrade so looking for reg. priced room best for dd2 and ds4. Short walk to buses, best playgr

    Hi Gayle!

Wow, your vacation is really getting close. You must be very excited!

Taking everything you've told me into account, I would recommend that you request a room in the Jamaica section of Caribbean Beach. This island is one of the closest non-preferred locations to Old Port Royale where you'll find the food court, gift shop and main pool. I would estimate the walk to be about ten minutes across the bridge.

Not all islands have a playground. If it is a priority for you, then I would absolutely go with Jamaica. The other islands with playgrounds are Martinique which is preferred and Trinidad South which is the furthest island from everything and also the island consisting of pirate rooms. Neither of these islands fit your need for a standard room.

Each island has its own bus stop. Within Jamaica, the building closest to a bus stop is number 46, while building number 45 is slightly closer to the bridge to Old Port Royale and the playground.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful vacation!
