We have a va disable handicap tag can we park at the Disney broad walk

Greetings, Harriet, and welcome to planDisney!

I’m so excited to hear that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort. What do your plans include? Will you be visiting the theme parks? You will be happy to hear that Disney does a fantastic job in providing a great experience for all Guests. So throughout your stay as long as you have a valid disability parking permit, you will be good to park in those designated areas.

When it comes to parking at Disney’s BoardWalk, parking is limited. The recommendation is if you are staying at a Disney Resort, to use the available complimentary transportation. If you choose to drive, Disney also advises that you may not be able to park your own vehicle. Instead, valet parking may be the only option. As you can see, there are a lot of factors that may impact you being able to park at the BoardWalk. Like Disney recommends, I also recommend taking advantage of the complimentary transportation options. You could also look into taking a Minnie Van if you are looking for a more personal ride. The Minnie Van Cast Members are so kind and knowledgeable, the ride becomes an experience with how welcoming they are.

Harriet, please thank the veteran in your life for us! We really appreciate their service. If they are eligible, don’t forget to take a look at the incredible military savings the Walt Disney World offers. My family appreciates and loves these savings as it gives us the chance to reconnect with a nice family vacation. I hope that you get the chance to experience a memorable Walt Disney World vacation too.

I hope this has helped answer your question. If there’s anything else you need, please ask away!

    Have a great visit,

    Shantel

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
