Hi there, Emily!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Although your most magical vacation is a few months away, it will be here in a blink of an eye! So, let's get straight into how
Disability Access Service (DAS) works.
DAS is such a helpful way to make the most of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation when you may otherwise find it difficult to wait in extended attraction queues. Because its purpose is to shorten these waits, DAS does give you access to the
Lightning Lane. Woohoo!
I highly recommend that you complete a virtual pre-registration DAS Advance via a live video chat to see if you qualify for DAS before your trip begins. You may begin this process 2-30 days before your arrival. During the video call, a Cast Member will determine your eligibility, and you'll be able to book up to two (2) one-hour return windows for theme park attractions' Lightning Lane use. You can register for DAS on the same day of your first visit as well. Just visit
Guest Services in person at the theme parks' entrances, and speak with a friendly Cast Member to determine your eligibility and set you up for your first Lightning Lane return time.
AN EXTRA GEM: You may use DAS for your entire visit (up to 60 days) without renewing. You and up to five additional Guests in your party benefit from it. The coolest part? You can also select your own attraction return times using the
My Disney Experience App's DAS Self-Selection Tool. You can also look for the blue Guest Experience Team umbrellas around each theme park where Cast Members can make your following Lightning Lane selection as well.
I hope that you have the most amazing time, Emily! If you have any further questions while planning, please
reach out to us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
