I would like to utilize Fast Pass + and reserve 30 days in advance for the whole family. However my question is: If we buy our tickets now for a specific day such as Jan 26th and the kids somehow get sick am I able to switch dates on the park tickets?

    Hi Nicole,

Thanks so much for your question. It's definitely a great idea to purchase Theme Park Tickets in advance whenever possible. I love taking advantage of planning with the FastPass+ system. It makes our days so much easier!

The great thing about tickets to Walt Disney World is that they can be used on any day, with the exception of party-specific tickets, which are purchased for certain dates. If you have a multi-day ticket, you will need to use them within 14-days of the first use. If you have a single-day ticket, you may use it whenever you want. This means you can definitely switch your days if someone is unable to make it as originally planned.

The only thing I will say is if you must change the day you plan to be at the park, you will need to change your FastPass+ selections to the new day. If you are doing this at the last minute, you may not be able to get the same attractions and/or times as your original selections.

I hope this helps you plan for a magical day in the parks, Nicole. Wishing you a happy and healthy vacation at Walt Disney World Resort!
