    Is it usually warm enough in early February to use the pools at Coronado Springs?

    Hi Julie,

    You pose a very interesting question and one that could differ depending on who you ask. For example, I am from Texas, so in my opinion, it might not be warm enough for me to take a dip in the pool. However, if you asked someone from Massachusetts or Minnesota, they might totally think it is swimsuit weather. So, let me give you some averages and then you can base your plans on your personal preferences.

    In February, the average temperature highs are in the mid 70s with lows in the 50s. The average rainfall for this time of year is around 2.3 inches, which is low for that area. The real rainy season doesn't begin until around May. It is typical in Florida to have a daily shower, no matter what time of year it is. However, at that time of year, those showers don't tend to last long or be as heavy. Keep in mind, though, that weather is unpredictable and can never be guaranteed.

    My suggestion would be to pack your swimsuits, just in case the mood and weather tempts you, but also be prepared with a lightweight jacket or sweater for layering in the early mornings or evenings.
