Hello! We usually visit WDW near Christmas and take 1/2 day to tour resorts to see decorations. We will be going at Halloween next trip. Do the resorts do it up for Halloween like at Christmas?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Belinda!

There really isn’t a more magical place than the Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays! Resort hopping during Christmas time is a personal favorite of mine as well. But fear not! The Walt Disney World Resort during the fall is just as magical. You are in for a trick-or-treat!

Belinda, many Disney resort hotels will have special Halloween activities on Halloween, but if there is a place you cannot miss during this spooky season is the campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

Campers go all out decorating their camping sites and golf carts. The creativity is off the charts and so much fun! You can start seeing decorations as early as September, but by October, you will be able to enjoy Spooktacular decorations by passionate guests who often include inflatables, intricate gravesites, and kid-friendly ghoulish décor to delight visiting guests.

This resort also offers a special ticketed event, Return To Sleepy Hollow. During select nights, guests can enjoy a showing of the classic film, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, among other special activities and surprises, like a personal encounter with the Headless Horseman.

I hope you enjoy all the Fall-tastic special events and activities at the Walt Disney World resort during your visit. For any more planning tips or advice, you know where to find us!

    See ya real soon!
