We usually visit Walt Disney World during Chirstmas, so we are familiar with the large crowds. This summer we are planning a trip end of July through the first week of August. What is the difference between the crowds? Less, about the same or worse?

    Hi Kimberly!

I would say that the crowds at Walt Disney World are worse over the summer months.  At least it is for me.  The parks are more crowded because children are out of school.

I have to say that the crowds don't really bother me during the summer, it's the heat!  I don't know if you've been to Disney during the summer months, but it can get brutal.  With that said, staying hydrated and wearing sunscreen, light clothing, and hats help with all of that.  You can cool off on any ride and in any store.

If you're okay with the crowds at Christmas, you should be okay during the summer...those crowds have NEVER stopped me!

I hope you have a wonderful time on your vacation.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!
