We usually visit Disney in mid Febuary and the crowds are light to moderate in the parks. This year we are thinking of going at the end of March. I know March is peak season but when does it start to slow down again or does it go right into April Thanks

    David:

After having gone to Disney the last two years in late February and mid-March, I can tell you that once the Spring Break crowd hits Disney (roughly at the end of the first week of March), the crowds don't let up until at least a week after Easter, which is in April this year.  If I were in your shoes, I would not go at the end of March if you can help it, even though Easter is the last Sunday of April.  Crowds will remain high as designated by Disney charging the Peak rate.

You didn't mention why you were considering changing the time of year you visit. If you're looking for mild weather so you can enjoy the pools, consider October, not exactly low crowds but definitely more manageable plus you go from paying peak rates to regular rates.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
