Hi! I usually stay at a DVC resort but I am looking to stay at either the Swan or the Dolphin hotel. I know it is not owned and operated by Disney but do they still offer resort perks such as; extra magic hours and Disney's Magical Express? Thanks!

    Hi Janine!!!

We also stay at Disney Vacation Club Resorts on a regular basis!!  Aren't they so awesome!?!?

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts are very unique.  You are correct that they are not owned and operated by Disney.  They do still, however, offer the same Extra Magic Hour Benefits that the other Disney Resorts offer.  You also have full use of the Disney Transportation System through either the Friendship Boats or the Disney Bus Transport Service.  Disney's Magical Express is the only regular resort benefit that is not offered to the Swan and Dolphin.  Other than Disney's Magical Express you get all the same perks as a regular Walt Disney World Resort Guest.  There is even a Character Dining Experience located there!!

Please note that the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts do have a daily resort fee that all guests must pay, plus you have to pay for onsite parking.

I hope this helps and that you have a magical day!!
