Hello! When do they usually put out the dates and times and dessert parties? I see calendars out but not for some events. Most interested in the Galactic Dessert party this September, 2018!

    Hi Sarah!

Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you getting so excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation? September will be here before you know it!

This past March my husband, our son and I met up with my parents at Walt Disney World Resort for a very special Disney vacation. I'm normally the last-minute mom who usually plans our Disney trips with less than three months notice, but this one had been in the works since the previous fall. High on our list was the Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience. What I learned in planning this vacation is that dessert parties don't follow the same 'Advance Dining Reservation' rules like traditional sit-down Table Service Restaurants, where you're allowed to book your dining experience up to 180 days before your vacation.

Instead, each individual dessert party will release it's schedule about three or four months in advance, and will then let you book your desired date a few weeks after that. Since joining the Disney Parks Moms Panel, I've resEARched and discovered that some dessert parties will only allow guests to book their options exactly 60 days before the dessert date, whereas others will open up a whole month's calendar once the first of the month is so many days away. Right now it looks like 'Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party' will both open it's September schedule and allow for bookings once we hit June, which is just a few weeks away. You can definitely book this party online, or should you need more assistance a Guest Reservations Cast Member would love to help you at (407) 939-5277.

We'll See You Real Soon, Sarah!
