We usually plan Disney World trips the last of January, first of February due to low crowds. My son and daughter-in-law were there last week. The first few days were wonderful but February 2, 3 & especially 4 were very busy. Does anyone know why?

    Hi Debora!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You are right that the last week of January and the first week of February are historically low crowd times at Walt Disney World.  However, crowds seem to have been growing steadily over the past few years.  Even on predicted medium crowd level days, waits for some of the headliner attractions like Space Mountain can still approach an hour.

I hope everybody had a wonderful vacation even with the larger than expected crowds!
