Hello! When is usually the least crowded time to do laundry: early AM, afternoon, or late PM?What are the laundry room hours? We are staying at AKL. Thank you so much for your help!

    Hi Mark!

The laundry facilities can be accessed at any time using your room key.  It's hard to predict when others will be doing their laundry but for me personally, I tend to find the empty laundry rooms in the early morning hours.  It's very easy to put your laundry in the wash, enjoy breakfast at the food court and then transfer your clothes to the dryer.  That begin said, I've also had luck in the afternoons which can also be a great time if you are enjoying the pool.  I've never tried to do laundry in the late p.m. at Animal Kingdom Lodge but I have tried at the Grand Floridian and it seemed to be a popular time for laundry.

In case you are wondering, the machines cost $2.00 to operate and there is a change machine located in the laundry room if needed.  Soap is available in a machine for $1.00.  There is also a TV you can watch if you choose to wait in the laundry room for your clothes.

I hope this helps.  Diane  :)
