Is there usually more extra magic hours added during thanksgiving week? Last year is seemed to be more then what's even scheduled for October so I wasn't sure if they add more extra magic hours during holiday like thanksgiving week. Thanks a bunch

Hey there, Hallie! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

A few years ago my wife and I had the opportunity to vacation at Walt Disney World in the Fall, and let me tell you, it’s now one of my favorite times of year to visit.

While we’ve not heard anything about Disney dates for Extra Magic Hours around Thanksgiving, my personal advice is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, because that will be the first place you'll be able to read about any news, including any potential addition of those Extra Magic Hours. After all, who doesn’t like spending more time in the parks before or after regular operating hours!?

Oh, and be sure to make note that Extra Magic Hours is a benefit for registered Guests staying at participating Walt Disney World Resort hotels and Official Walt Disney World Hotels. If you’re looking for a Walt Disney Resort Hotel suggestion or two, might I recommend Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge or Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort as these are two of my favorite locations.

If you have any other questions please let us know. Otherwise, be sure to tell Mickey I said hello!
