Can you usually see & do most everything at AK in 1 day? We are visiting in mid Oct. (hopefully lighter crowds), but then they are also open shorter hours (only till 7). We only have 6 full days to spend at the parks & feeling like we can't get it

Animal Kingdom is the one park at WDW that you can definitely see and do the attractions important to your family in one day. This includes doing "most everything" at the park.

With the 7 p.m. closing, you'll be absolutely fine. We've always been able to complete this park even when it's only open until 5 p.m.

One thing that helps with 1-day touring at the Animal Kingdom is that it does not offer evening entertainment. Thus the crowds are very low in the late afternoon and early evening.

In each section of the park, there is only 1-2 large attractions such as Dinosaur in Dinoland, Kilimanjaro Safaris in Africa and the Lion King Show in Camp-Minnie Mickey. I never feel as overwhelmed at this park as I do when first entering the Magic Kingdom, for example.

Have a great day at the Animal Kingdom. The attention to detail in this park is breath-taking!
