We usually get a dining plan when we visit, but always are left w/meals&snacks that were never used. Were thinking about skipping the dining plan this year and just eating at quick service restaurants and was wondering the average price for a qs meal.

    Hi Brittany!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Moms Panel.

Some guests save a lot of money using a Disney Dining Plan, some guests save a little, and some actually spend more by being on the Dining Plan.  The best thing to do is to calculate the average cost of a Quick Service meal for your party.  I suggest visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  They do a great job keeping their menus up to date.  There you can look at the menus for various Quick Service restaurants and calculate how much money you would spend based on your preferences.

By the way, I recommend Pecos Bill in the Magic Kingdom, Sunshine Season Food Fair in Epcot, and Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom.  I really don't have a favorite in the Studios.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
