What are usually the busiest check in and check out days at Disney resorts?

    Hi there, Julie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for trusting us to help you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

Busy check-in and check-out days vary based on the time of year of your visit. Families are coming and going all year-round, and lines at the Concierge/Front Desk can be busy one minute and slow another.

Since online check-in has been offered many families don't visit the Front Desk during their entire Disney vacation. We always use online check-in when we visit Disney.

Once you sign into your My Disney Experience account and you are about 60 days from your upcoming vacation, you will be allowed to utilize the online check-in feature. Each online check-in option is unique to each resort. When you complete the online check-in, you will be notified by email or text message that your resort room is ready on the day of your check-in. By using your Magic Band, you can enter your room after you've received your email/text that the room is ready!

Many guests are using this feature, leaving the wait time at the Front Desk very short!

Julie, I hope this helps! Enjoy your time at Walt Disney World!
