Is it usual to tip mouse keeping when you're Dvc? Normally we only get service one day during our stay. We really don't know the protocol as Dvc members. Thanks!!

    Hi Michele,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan Disney vacations!

Whether you choose to tip your housekeeper or not is truly a personal decision. As you point out, as a Disney Vacation Club member staying at a Disney Vacation Club resort, you will not receive daily housekeeping, but rather a trash and towel service during your stay for stays less than a week, and a rotation of a full cleaning and trash and towel service every few days for stays longer than a week. Whether and how much you tip the housekeepers for these services is up to you. My family tends to tip our housekeepers. As you point out, it is generally only once or twice during a stay as a Disney Vacation Club member, and we so appreciate coming back to a room that is magically tidier than when we left it that we do leave a tip for the housekeepers.

Do visit the Disney Vacation Club website for lots of information on Disney Vacation Club. As a member, you can sign in and manage many parts of your membership right from your computer!

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Michele. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
