Hi Michelle!
Thanks so much for sailing to the Disney Parks Moms Panel as you prepare for your upcoming Disney Cruise! My family loves sailing to paradise during the winter months like January and February. It's the perfect escape from our cold Chicago weather.
The weather in Nassau and
Castaway Cay will typically be in the mid-70's during the day and become a little chillier at night, especially while the ship sails to your next exciting port of call. I was comfortable wearing denim capris and a short-sleeved shirt with a light jacket over it. If it felt too warm while exploring either island, I'd tie the jacket around my waist. Before embarking on your voyage, check out the

Definitely don't leave home without your swimsuits! For me, when visiting Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, during the month of February, the water starts off feeling a little chilly at first, but once I start swimming around, it's great! For Guests' comfort, the
water of the pools onboard all four vessels is heated to at least 75 degrees. The kids are going to have plenty of opportunities for a splashtacular time onboard!
Michelle, if you think of any other questions while you prepare for your upcoming adventure at sea, please come back and visit us again! We'd be thrilled to help you navigate through the planning process!
