    Hi Penny! Welcome to planDisney.

I hope you are enjoying the fun of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Be sure to pack your poncho in your theme park bag as those Florida rain showers are popping up every afternoon. Take care to hydrate with a refillable water bottle. My pal, Anne Marie wrote a very comprehensive list of water refill stations throughout the theme parks.

Mobility Disabilities are well accommodated throughout the theme parks for attractions. They fall into three main categories.

    • Must Transfer from wheelchair/ECV to ride vehicle
    • Must Transfer from ECV to wheelchair
    • Must Transfer from ECV to wheelchair, and from wheelchair to ride vehicle
I believe you are asking for the very limited "Must be Ambulatory" category. This specifically refers to when guests must walk themselves to the attraction or be assisted by their travel party. You can view this list by clicking here.

There are attractions you can stay in your wheelchair for the ride experience. Click here for the complete list.
