I am using a walker on my 3 upcoming trips due to disability/mobility issues, I was wondering if I have to use each exit in order to ride on rides such as pirates, radios spring racers, big thunder mountain, et.? Thank you to the most magic place!

    Hi there, Tiana!

We're so happy to have you here at planDisney. With your trip just around the corner, you must be getting so excited. Let's take a look at your question to make sure your park day is as smooth as a magic carpet ride.

Disneyland Resort is committed to accessibility and ensuring a magical visit for each and every Guest. As you may have suspected, some attractions may require a special entry for those using mobility devices, but it can vary from ride to ride, depending on the queue and the ride vehicle itself. First and foremost, any Cast Member at the front of the attraction will be happy to provide you with boarding details before you enter the queue. On the Disneyland website and also in the Disneyland Mobile App, you can do a bit of advanced planning as well. If you are on the go using the app, simply search for a specific attraction using the magnifying icon in the bottom navigation bar, and you will see a section titled "Accessibility & Other Information". Tap the drop-down menu here to view how Guests using mobility devices will need to board. This does not include specific information for those using walkers and where they would need to enter, but it's a good gauge of what to expect during the boarding process.

If you have any questions during your visit, I highly recommend stopping by the Accessibility Kiosk located just to the left of the entrance to California Adventure in the Main Entrance Esplanade. The Cast members are highly trained in knowing the ins and outs of both parks and can answer any specific questions you may have.

If you're looking for a nice spot to relax and take a break from the park's hustle and bustle, my favorite spot is the bridge just across from the Matterhorn. It's the perfect quiet oasis where you can grab a snack from the Edelweiss Snacks and enjoy all the sights and sounds of the park! My planDisney pal Carrie introduced me to the Cheesy Garlic Pretzel Bread on our last visit together, and it is now at the top of my must-have treats!

Tiana, I hope this was helpful as you put the finishing touches on your magical visit. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney

    Enjoy those unforgettable memories!
